Our Favorite Books on Marketing and Thoughts on Them

Updated: Feb 2, 2023

Dream 100 by Dana Derricks - the Book That Makes All Your Business Dreams Come True. And all of your other dreams, for that matter, if they are built through missing relationships. This book taught the technique to become acquainted with my personal hero, Vince Kadlubek, founder of Meow Wolf, with a series of 4 packages. What relationship can 50,000x your career? Pro Tip: This book talks about 100-300 people on your list... but if you want to start small with 5, assuming one of them has the power to transform your business, you'll see excellent returns quickly and can expand later. Combine this book with Launch by Jeff Walker and Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi for some truly optimized and maximized profits.

Traffic secrets - the 1st of two books by Russel B on this list with his third in another email. Top 5 ever digital marketers, began selling potato gun courses, is now a marketing tech billionaire. This book shows the basics of all major digital marketing traffic sources in 2019 and then layers it with the fundamental work built on in the Dream 100.

Website Secrets - the 2nd of two books by Russell Brunson on this list, but actually his first book. This book largely teaches you why the funnel concept is important and how to make it work for your business. Essential concept to understand, and he'll go through a lot of the other basics of online marketing such as email and nurturing. Probably the first digital marketing book that I've ever read, gives a great overlay of the basics.

Dan Kennedy on Marketing to the Affluent. This is the fastest and surest path to prosper in tough times (selling to those least affected by recession) and to get rich in good times! This book showed me how rich people are far less affected by the by swings in the economy, and how they LOVE to spend LOTS of money on things because they are constantly looking for the best VALUE. Also, every 20% subset can afford 10x more than the other 80%. This books shows just how deep that goes.
