If the conversation proves fruitful, the next step typically involves an introductory phone call with our client, the interested buyer. Should both parties wish to proceed, our client usually requests additional information to value the company and draft an offer or indication of interest. Following agreement on terms, a formal letter of intent is submitted, and the buyer proceeds through a detailed due diligence checklist. Upon completion, the purchase agreement is signed, and the transaction is funded and closed.
